Hazy Jean is a friendly, family-owned Canadian greeting card company that was incorporated in 2001. We design, manufacture and distribute four distinct brands: Hazy Jean®, Little Jeanie™, Crewe Avenue® and our French brand, Juste pour toi™.
With over 30 years experience in the Greeting Card industry, the founder of the company, Heather Jean inherited her love for greeting cards from her grandmother. 'Gammie' made delicate little greeting and enclosure cards decorated with shells and felt and sold them in gift shops in British Columbia. Each of Gammie's cards was an "e-Van Original".
Heather along with her mom, Judy and dad, Peter are actively involved with each and every card, from its creative beginning including selecting just the right words, to sketching, drawing and painting the images, to production and printing, then shipping. We hope that every card that leaves our warehouse will spread a smile and brighten someone's day.
Our cards are printed on FSC certified paper - an international certification and labelling system dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests.
We've always been concerned about the environment, and we use recycled and sustainably resourced paper for all our printing and envelopes. Our cards are printed with vegetable based inks, are bulk packaged in corrugated cardboard and we reuse materials whenever we can. As well, our cards and display racks are designed and made in Canada, by Canadians and they always will be. Producing locally reduces our carbon footprint and keeps Canadian businesses in business. It's all good!!
We NEVER use excess packaging...and we NEVER EVER wrap our cards in plastic.
